Meet the Doctor

Dr. Makaya Mulato

Dr. Mulato has been a pediatrician for 20 years. She received her BS in Chemistry with a minor in Psychology at George Washington University and her medical degree at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. She completed her residency at Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit, MI.

Dr. Mulato has a well-rounded background in diagnosing health issues in babies, young children and adolescents. She has excellent problem solving and communication skills. Empathy, care and compassion are her core values. For Dr. Mulato, being a pediatrician is more than a career, it’s her passion, her life calling.

During her spare time, Dr. Mulato enjoys spending time with her family, reading and cooking.
